New Winter Apparel For All South Coast Surf Shop Locations
I walked into Macy’s two days ago and was shocked at what I saw!! Can you guess?? Christmas decorations!!! Can you believe that time is already here! This year has flown by so quickly and as we are getting towards the end of 2012, that only means one thing: colder weather is approaching. All South Coast locations in San Diego have just received new Fall and Holiday shipments from all your favorite brands like Rip Curl, O’Neill, RVCA, and Billabong.
Top colors and styles this holiday season
For the guys we got great new styles of tees and fleece as well as fun flannels, denim, and long sleeve crew neck sweaters. There are lots of blue color palettes with creams and reds- try not to think 4th of July so much and picture independent pieces with these colors. Nice hues of green frequent the shelves too.
For the ladies we’ve got maxi skirts, loose knit tops, chunky sweaters, and comfy fleece. This season is all about layering so lots of tanks, cardigans, and jackets will be hanging up as well! You can expect lots of colors on display from plum and green to creams and soft grays as well. Coral has been a theme of all seasons this year and plays a big part in Holiday too. Hope to see you at one of South Coast’s five retail locations soon!
You would be able to point Maaji swimwear out of any line up! Maaji- you know- the one with the cool mixed patterns and unique designs?! Maaji has made a splash in the swimwear business with always creative prints and bold colors and Maaji founders, Manuela and Amalia Sierra, intend to keep it that way! These sisters were looking to give women a feel pretty garment that was comfortable, trendy, and fresh! Made in Colombia, Maaji has expanded globally to 45 countries and isn’t stopping there! They recently expanded into lingerie and from I can tell in our Wahines shops, they will be as successful with their lingerie as they are with their swimwear! If the textures and colors don’t pull you in right away, maybe their giving attitude will! Maaji patnered with ConTREEbute in efforts to “plant an ocean full of trees” in Colombia. Every suit you purchase from their 2012 “Underwater Conquest” line, a tree will be planted. So far the count is 39,000 new trees right now! Don’t worry, if you didn’t get a swimsuit from Maaji this year you can still help out the environment! They are continuing this gesture to their 2013 swimwear line “Seaside Reverie”. For more information on Maaji’s line please visit www.maajiswimwear.com or stop in to any of our South Coast Wahines locations!
