The Vega is not your ordinary groveler. Think the speed of a fish with the bite and responsiveness of a performance shortboard. It’s our small-wave, high-performance speed machine, designed to make the most out of anything under head high.

The Crown Tail brings unique performance characteristics to a fish-inspired outline. Its design allows you to position your back foot farther back on the tail while keeping it directly over the fin cluster—the most reactive part of the board. The double swallows and down rails bite into the wave face for immediate response and grip, giving the Vega surprising control for a board with this much speed and volume. 

Inspired by the DMS Gherkin, we pulled in the nose width and added a touch more nose rocker to make re-entries off the lip easier while retaining the speed and easy wave-catching ability that make this style of board so much fun.
