The Formula-1 Squash is a high-performance shortboard built for speed, precision, and explosive surfing in everyday competition-style waves. Based on the board Cole Houshmand rode to victory at the 2025 WCT event in Brazil, the F1 takes inspiration from the original Formula-1 made popular by Julian Wilson, including his standout 2011 Lowers “Clown” board. Completely updated for modern performance surfing, the new F1 features a more set-back outline and rail-line rocker, a slightly narrower nose, increased hip, and a wider squash tail. A fuller centerline with forgiving rails provides stability and drive while maintaining the responsive feel expected from a performance shortboard.

A deep single concave transitions into a purposeful double concave through the rear fin, creating quick acceleration, lively lift, and increased rail-line curve for precise, tight-radius turns. The wider squash tail adds surface area to generate speed and maintain momentum in smaller, softer waves while still providing excellent hold and control when the surf gets more powerful.
