This Modern Fish features a refined design built for speed, flow, and smooth rail-to-rail surfing. It carries a modified hull bottom with softened down rails and a clean edge in the last 12–18 inches for added drive. A deep concave runs between the fins and extends roughly six inches back from the nose, enhancing lift and responsiveness.
The tightened outline brings the swallow tips to 11 inches, creating a subtle hip that improves maneuverability without sacrificing glide. Glassing is expertly done by Shoreline, while the hand-shaped, foiled wood fins are crafted in-house using marine-ply slant backs. Each fin receives four layers of 6 oz cloth for added strength and durability.
Slightly increased rocker boosts turning performance, making this board a modern, turbocharged take on the classic fish—built for surfers who want timeless style with upgraded performance.
